was held last week-end in New York City....

Chad has been working long and hard in preparation for this event...

All backdrops, programs, etc. were designed by Chad and his team...

Samsung donated $800,000. to the charities of celebraties who

appeared at the event....

Tranquility

Returning from a week on the Milagro at the Okeechobee property,

leaves us rested and ....happy!

Even though we worked quite a bit on several projects to

include clearing weeds on seawall etc.

we returned rested in mind, spirit and soul....

River Bluff is truly a sanctuary of the 'finest kind'....

Okeechobee itself is a unique Florida town....

Picking up a local 'Pennysaver Weekender' at Pogey's as

we had breakfast, I had to chuckle at several ads....

For instance:

"Will the gentleman who purchased the Wagner Power Paint Sprayer call.

You forgot the adjustable orange tip. Call....."

"Frog Gig used on airboat....$70.00. Call....."

This one is a classic.....

"Very intelligent 1 yr. old male donkey,

residing in Okeechobee. $100. Call......"

Such is the good life in a small, southern town

called.....Okeechobee....

Unique business in Okeechobee....kinda like an 'old home place'.....

From the swim platform of the Milagro...this is our morning sight...a sacred sanctuary feast for the eyes....

Special Tribute to our Gracie (in center) at her recent 'Girls All State' in Tallahassee....We are proud of you, dear one!

This note (and pictures) are from Blake and explains the pictures below..."Took some pictures of some of our 'camp' deer this past weekend. Note the spotted fawn suckling the doe, and the spike buck still growing his horns and in velvet. Walked up to about 20 feet of the little buck which is unusual even for a small buck, but he grew up on our camp plot and has no fear of humans. Of course, he is protected from hunters as long as he stays close to the camp area as has been several other bucks in the recent past."

It appears that they are 'posing' for the camera...

This is a 'real' owl who has taken up residence atop the weather vane on Joyce & Blake's north Florida property. Florida's animals,birds, and nature scenes still delight 'we natives'.....

I See, I See

Welcome to my world...it is beautiful...and filled with beautiful people...

Yesterday during the beginning of the Florida Alberto 'storm',

I was scheduled for a corrective 'eye' surgery....

Charlie, Lynn and Cindy went out in the rain with me to the Surgery Clinic...

....Cindy drove from Bradenton in the driving rain in order to be here

for my 11:00 appointment...

Lynn had other things to do for her church and was doing some of them on the phone while we were traveling.....

Charlie would rather have been 'elsewhere' too....

Chad wanted to go with us as well but we told him 'No'....

Ash, Britt, Sally & Sam the man, Dockie & Annie P., Joyce & Blake, and many others called and simply said..."We will be praying for you".....

......I truly felt those prayers and expressions of L O V E.....

By the time my three 'guard-ian angels' went to lunch and returned my 'procedure' was finished.....and I was HAPPY!

Cindy had told me that it would be a 'happy' surgery because I would be able to see more clearly than I had in years....

She was right....

I could see three 'angels of love' that were truly beautiful to me....and I did

overlook their 'bossiness' as they prepared my 'late lunch'.....

My heart bursts with joy......love given....love received....

....The circle of life is complete....

This word speaks to me today
