Celebrating Life…Again and Again!

Heard from some of you that I have not written in a while….’tis true!
Being busy with family projects, birthdays, and anniversary celebrations plus the excitement of Pipo’s/Melissa Jo’s planned wedding has certainly taken me off of the “Gearing Down” schedule.
So much for my idea of how I want to live MY life!
Charlie and I have just returned from a real ‘just the two of us’ vacation in of all places…..Disney World Area. Only an hour away but we made use of the facilities to celebrate our anniversary and had fun too.
We ate at the Boston Lobster Feast….all the lobster you can eat….Charlie ate 5 and I ate three…these were large ones too. Of course, there was every kind of seafood imaginable and one of my favorites was Oysters Rockefeller…Wonder how many pounds that feast cost us?
Since we were staying at a Disney Hotel we had free use of all their transportation. We traveled their buses, rode the monorail and boats to explore the Polynesian Hotel, Contemporary Hotel, and Grand Floridian.
Breakfasting the next morning at the military’s Shades of Green was fun and we again stopped at The Swan Hotel in memory of our 1991 visit there.
All hotels have a different theme and one can experience the ‘flavor-of-life’ from around the world just by doing a Florida Hotel Tour….Much like Vegas, huh? Felt like we really took a ‘vacation’….came home refreshed and planning a cruise for our next trip….don’t know if it will be in our Gator, Milagro…or perhaps a Disney 7 day Eastern Caribbean Cruise….
Guess which one I am voting for?
At any rate…on land or sea….It is a Good Life…and More To Come!
