Merry CHRISTmas…..

‘Tis the season…. it is upon us!
I’m sure it came much faster than some of us expected….
My observation is….there are some individuals…(I’m not naming names) who are not quite in the Spirit of the Season….
This is true of my family members and friends….
I am wondering if perhaps this is not prevalent in Florida more than usual….Most of us have some areas in our homes and lives where we are just getting back to a ‘new normal’ as a result of our summer storms…..
…….Christmas can be that time where we actually put everything else on hold……and embrace that which is ’most important’….i.e.: NOW!
It will take a ’real effort’ on my part to do this….as the ’feeling’ of bright Christmas Cheer has yet to arrive. `Tis no wonder with all the rushing about I’ve been doing these days….Decorating the house, buying gifts, wedding plans, etc. has pushed ‘the spirit’ aside.
I am guilty of ’doing too much’……again.
Now is the time to step back…..embrace that which is sacred…and let everything else fall into place…..
I have a choice…..and I choose to remember…..
……..Jesus IS the reason…..for the season….of LOVE!
