Acting Crazy???

Having fun with Joshua at Carillon Park yesterday was a much needed retreat…again. To our dismay, a new Hilton Hotel is being built in the midst of our serene park playground…How dare they?
But seeing the simplicity of life through an ‘almost 4’ year olds eyes proved to be delightful…then Uncle Matt came over to take him for a walk in the ‘spooky jungle’. It required that each of them have a special walking stick….which they have packed away for later….
Of course, Joshua delights to turn into Tarzan in the flash of an eye…this role means that all the clothes must come off….down to the bare minimum….

After viewing all the stories of death and dying on the world news for days now….celebrating life brings a breath of fresh air into our daily perspective…
This is not to say that respect for lost loved ones or great human beings is to be ignored….but a four year old is filled with the electricity of life which reminds us that ….yes, death is a real part of life…..but life does go on and must be celebrated….That’s what Joshua brought into our world yesterday….
Life….in all its fullness….to be celebrated daily…
