Thought For The Day

When Christian believers gather in churches,
Everything that can go wrong….
Sooner or later does….
Outsiders, observing this, conclude that
There is nothing to ‘this religion business’….
Insiders see it differently.
Christian churches are not….as a rule,
Model communities of good behavior.
They are, rather,
Places where human misbehavior
Is brought out in the open,
faced,
And dealt with..
Gaining such wisdom in a church setting,
Is not primarily knowing the truth,
It is skill in living…..
For, what good is a truth if we don’t know how to live it?
Through our ‘faith’ we gain the ‘power’
To make changes, as needed, to continue to
Grow and mature in relationships…
With God….and man.
That’s Living Faith!
