From the Book: "Mr. God, This Is Anna" by:Fynn
I have just re-read again the above book...read it about 15 years ago and found it intriguing.
It is a true story about Anna, a little 8 yr. old girl who has a special insight into Mr.God.....and how Anna speaks from that 'middle' where 'Mr. God lives in my middle...and I live in Mr. God's middle'....
One such insight is Anna's idea about 'dying'....
I quote Anna from her experience with Granny Harding's dying....
"Being dead was nothing to get fussed about. Dying could be a bit of a problem, but NOT if you had really lived. Dying needed a certain amount of preparation and the only preparation for dying was....real living,
the kind of preparation old Granny Harding had made during her lifetime...Granny Harding was glad to die; not because life had been too hard for her or she had been overworked, but because she had been glad to live. Ninety-three years of beautiful living made sure that Granny Harding died happily....because she had lived...happily."
