Awesome!

Awesome is a much used, abused, and wrongly used word in our 'lingo' usage today.
This word really means, INSPIRING AWE!
.........from one person to another, when we 'inspire awe' we actually receive and give a transmission of greatness that defies words and stirs our hearts, making us 'hold our breath' in wonder!
This week I saw this over and over in our dear Brittney.
Britt's son, our precious 10 yr. old, Joshua Shane 'JJ', had to have a emergency appendectomy on Sunday.

Britt being a very astute Mom, correctly diagnosed his condition early and the long waiting began in the emergency room until all the test proved true.
Before JJ received his anesthesia, Britt insisted that she be the 'last face he sees before going to sleep and the first he sees upon awakening' ......and that is exactly the way it 'rolled.'
Britt slept with him, dealt with the 'slew' of family that came with hearts of love to express and monitored every movement of her 'little man' as she calls him.
Her Mom, Nena Lynn, was caring for 5 yr. old Dylan, this being a true 'gift of love' to Britt and family. Dylan was stressed out about his 'bubba' being in the hospital but yesterday was able to spend a little time near him.
Over and over, Britt ( dead tired herself) was the 'rock' not only for her son, JJ, BUT FOR THE REST OF OUR FAMILY AS WELL?
I am truly amazed at the wonder of this one I have always called our 'Joy Child'.....
This precious single Mom of two had just the week before been 'laid off' from her long-time job which enabled her to be  the 'sole' support for her little family.
I never heard one word of 'poor me' out of this girls mouth at all.
Instead she cheered everyone else up over their own pain about JJ, meanwhile meeting his every need and taking no thought whatsoever of her own self.
I stand in AWE of our Brittney, proud Mom of her two boys which she calls 'her heart'.
One amusing incident I must relate, on Monday morn our dear Carla called to tell Britt she would be coming from Brooksville and "what did she need or want that she could bring?". Britt did tell her that she could use a 'change of clothes' and toothbrush etc. (see pic of Britt & Carla below on previous post for Carla's b'day.)
When Carla arrived (with Kason of course) she had balloons, Gator things for JJ and a bag for Britt with one of her 'favorite' outfits that Britt had been begging and pleading for a LONG time.
This gorgeous set was both their favorites and Britt was thrilled to finally get the long sought~after clothing from her dear cousin, Carla.
Carla's joy in giving it to her, finally, was a sight to behold!
(I will post a pic of Britt in it a little later)
..........Seeing these cousins so giving and loving with each other....and having fun in the midst of anxiety was a treasure to my heart.
Both are absolutely devoted and committed Mothers to their boys.  They are kinda the Proverbs 31 Woman in a modern world of 2011.
......Both are 'totally awesome'.....and I stand in awe of these beautifully strong 'Women of Excellance' !
They surely bless our family and 'inspire awe' in me.....and that is the 'God's truth'!
