What Now?

We Floridians are still in the ‘survival’ mode…
Speaking to people as we move about in the areas around us….everyone has a story to tell. Most everyone has helped or been helped by others. Talking to a woman at the post office who had water in her home was certainly a ‘different than I expected’ conversation. Her attitude was cheerful….her words were positive….her face was smiling as she related the last few days she has lived through.
The attitude after these storms has been more positive than negative in almost everyone I’ve talked to.
How amazing…..truly…
Also, people are staying in ’another possible storm’ mode in the event Ivan pays a visit.
I certainly salute the residents of Florida for their resiliency and attitude in the last few weeks. I am proud of every one of you…helping each other…receiving help graciously and thankfully while experiencing hardships and power loss everywhere we turn….
How beautiful the human heart is when it is touched with compassion.
Whatever comes our way….coping skills have been brought to life and underlying strength and courage has been exhibited in an amazing way.
