ABC....Awesome, Beautiful and Creative....

Yesterday as I went to my hairdresser, Kelly Jo, for

my usual 'recycle' treatment....

I was reminded anew of the 'unlikely hero's' that surround

the every day events of my life....

Kelly Jo is certainly one of those individuals......

Years ago I was blessed by being referred to her by my

hairdresser who was leaving my current salon....

Jeanette told me...."Kelly Jo is the one you want...she

thinks like me, creatively"...

That was certainly an understatement!

I 'followed' Kelly through several other places, always

telling her that she 'needed her own salon'....she was

'too good to be making so much money for 'other people'..."

Finally, finally, she 'bit the bullet' so to speak and ventured

out on her own....

She opened up a small salon and named it "Creative Touches"...

I was so proud of her...and pleased by the results of

her hard work....in fact, the phrase, 'Hard Work' does

not even remotely describe Kelly Jo....

Work, her creative work, is what she lives, breathes and....

spends her life for all the time...

Yesterday she said that she actually 'loves going to work'...

that for over 20 years she still can't wait to start her day 'at work'....

Kelly Jo simply lives her art and is in all sense....an artist...

creating something beautiful with

the works of her hands from the inspiration of her mind

that thinks.....beauty....

Actually, she transfers her 'beauty thinking' to other areas

of her life as well...

Yesterday she began her 6:00 a.m day by watering

her 'new sod' lawn, which she had laid herself after

working all day on a wedding....

she created a pond, with lights around for 'night beauty' and

told me proudly..."I've got the best looking yard in

my neighborhood!"

Doesn't surprise me in the least....

she transforms everything she touches....

Kelly Jo now specializes in weddings...in addition to her

daily salon activities.

Therefore, she is busy ALL THE TIME...

her clientele love her ...

But she does not know the meaning of the word 'vacation'...

What a rare, unique and beautiful individual
