And a Good Time Was Had By All!

Happy Memorial Day....Happy Birthday Matt....Welcome Home Kissimmee River Navigators!
What a wonderful and delightful time the last week has been....
Going to 'The Milagro ' a week ago in preparation for the Memorial Day week-end arrival of fellow 'nautical' friends.....was a fun adventure as usual...
Dockie & Ann the 'regulars' on the Kissimmee River....did the 60 mile trip from Lake Kissimmee to Lake Okeechobee in one day and only one sand bar experience....
The other three boats.....had a different tale to tell....yet in the end.....everything worked out 'just fine'....
Pictures below will show that....all is well....with a 'little help from our friends'....
Leaving our boat early on Monday we returned to Tampa to our families birthday celebration for our 23 year old Matthew....The party was in full swing when we arrived and everyone was viewing videos from our Marine, Chuckie in Iraq...the seriousness of the Memorial Day celebration was evident as we viewed the conditions our military men and women were experiencing on this day of tribute...
Seeing our loved one, and his friends/brothers.....living hour upon hour in his 'track'....and having such a positive attitude....in the 'land of dust'.....made us so proud of him and all the other 'troops' ....
We salute you, OUR HERO'S...
His son, our little 'Cruz' was passed from hand to hand as everyone wanted to hold and kiss on him, again and again....and we did!
Matthew, your family.....loves and appreciates you and are so glad you were....borned!
Finally, saying our good-byes at Chad's 'temporary loft' we head for home at last.....
Thirty minutes later Chad calls from the neighborhood where he has just bought a house and is 'refurbishing' it and wanted Dad to come over for consultation....he has torn that beautiful house apart inside....with his creative vision for restoration.....the only thing left intact is....
his black pool lagoon and waterfall area...
Oh, well, boats, houses, cars..recycling is the name of the game.....
or do I just know and love only......'crazy people'?
Yep, we even have a few 'crazy people' that are being and will be.....recycled too!
Some will need to be after going to 'The Bahamas" in their personal boats and paying $4.00 plus a gallon for gas....
YOU know who you are....God Bless Your Heart.....!
P.S. Be sure and go to Photo Albums under link at left...
view the album AAA Boating Pictures for more pictures.....
Remember....I get to choose which ones to post....and which ones
not to show!!!
