***Wood Stork at Dockie's "Okeechobee Property"...

Here we go again.....the storm named, Wilma, could be a possible threat to Florida....is now causing havoc....again!
We chose to move our boat from the Oka-Tantie Marina....back up to our dear friends, Sally and Sam's which is on the Kissimmee River. It will be more protected if the Big Lake does any flooding....just a precaution, don't you know?
Another friend, Carl, has his boat there as well.....good ole Sam just happened to finish his new dock on that side of his Pier 33 for his houseboat....oh Lord, protect us all, we pray...

FYI.....Explorer repaired....major part was still under warranty....
instead of $1,500. estimate....
.....cost of repair was one missed lobster trip to the Keys.........
instead we were available when all the family news and plans
are coming together for our Marine homecoming.....
that's PRICELESS!!!

Oct 6, 2005

Just got a 'Lobster Report'.....from Sally....
The crew of 10....ate 2 lobsters each last night........which means they 'got what they went for'.....in Islamorada......
Scalloping in Steinhatchee, or Lobstering in the Keys.....
The Natives....know how it is done.......
In the pictures below you will see some of the results...
By the way, we got the 'Good News' that our family Marine, Chuckie/Pipo is NOW OUT OF IRAQ in Kuwait and 'on his way home'....
Seems like we have been 'holding our breath' until his return....
Prayers for his safety have been answered....
Hallelujah !

The Keys....Lobster Hunters from the Collins Family are .....serious....
and always, always, SUCCESSFUL!
