Can you read this picture?

Have you ever tried to 'get along with' someone who is
'hard to get along with'? (Southern talk, don't you know?)
What a hard thing to do.....unless....
you make a vow to yourself that you will do it
NO MATTER WHAT!
Somewhere along the way, the heart gets personally
involved and the 'task' becomes a bit easier yet
some people so resist 'being agreeable' and  amenable
that you wonder "is it worth it", just let me 'live in peace'?
If it is a close family member, you can 'bet' it is worth the effort!
But you really need help because from personal experience I've said many times,
"'to heck with it'...they are too hard to get along with! "
I'm reminded of a couple of things as I pray for these 'ones'....
The 'help' I need is there...in Phillipians 4:7....
my Rx
"And the peace of God, which transcends ALL understanding,
WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND YOUR MINDS
In Christ Jesus"...and
'Blessed are the PEACE MAKERS....
for they shall be called 'children of God'...Matt. 5:9
In faith, built within my being is someone who knows the answer to
the hurting and pain in another person .....
who needs
a touch of the 'presence of God'.
Being a Peace Maker is a much needed 'missionary' calling
for every family....especially in the USA.
May we live, walk and bless others around us....in Peace.

Laughter IS Good Medicine!

Come laugh with me I say to you...
CHANGE that look from sad and blue...
CHANGE IT N O W...Indeed you MUST...
For in my words you sure can trust....
That Laughter chases the blues away...
And releases your soul to come out and play....
To play and explore your special “Light Side”....
Where no pill nor drug can turn the tide.....
Because to laugh is to release yourself,
Completely to LIFE and fullness of HEALTH.....

John 16:24...LB.....Jesus said,
“Ask, using My name, and you WILL receive, and YOUR CUP OF JOY WILL OVERFLOW."

I Know Something GOOD....About YOU!!!

Wouldn't this old world be better If the folks we meet would say, "I know something good about you!"

And then treat us just that way?

Wouldn't it be fine and dandy If each handclasp warm and true Carried with it this assurance, "I know something good about you!"

Wouldn't life be lots more happy, If the good that's in us all Were the only things about us That folks bothered to recall?

Wouldn't life be lots more happy, If we praised the good we see?

For there's such a lot of goodness In the worst of you and me.

Wouldn't it be nice to practice That fine way of thinking, too?

Especially in the good ole U.S.A.?

You know something good about me!

I know something good about you!

Find someone today....and start with these words..."I know something GOOD about YOU!".

You will be surprised by how 'Happy' this will make others....and yourself!

Thanking God for every day of Life...

Every Day I awake being thankful and grateful for the blessings of life....sometimes in my mind, spirit and heart an inner reflex takes over that goes like this, "Thank you Jesus, Praise you Jesus, Bless you Jesus, Love you Jesus," and on and on and on. How could I not?
I am so blessed that it is impossible to think 'less' when I have more as a result of my relationship with HIM.
Not to say that in the world of my 'reality' there are not problems, pains, mistakes, sacrifices and plain ole 'stupid' results of my own making...
But I have built within my being the ONE who has ALL the answers that I need at any given time...
I may have to 'wait patiently' (yuk, I hate that!) until some situations 'run their course' .  During the meantime, a sense of His Presence is so strong that 'being caught up in HIS LOVE' removes any fear or doubt that 'everything will be all right' and I can rest assured that 'God IS in control even when it 'looks like' everything is 'out-of-control'.
How could I not say "Thank You, Praise You, Bless You, Love You"?
Yep, I serve and love a....God hearing, God answering, Miracle working God....and His Name is...Jesus...and HE actually lives in me by His Holy Spirit of Love.
I love Him, He loves me, WE ARE ONE
I will praise Him to my last breath....then I will SING AND DANCE WITH HIM FOREVER!
By the way, if you think life is hard for you just go to our son's Missionary page and read a few posts from Kenya, Africa and think about all the 'creature comforts'  we have in the USA.
If you don't 'thank God' after that then....you are dead already!

From the Book: "Mr. God, This Is Anna" by:Fynn

I have just re-read again the above book...read it about 15 years ago and found it intriguing.
It is a true story about Anna, a little 8 yr. old girl who has a special insight into Mr.God.....and how Anna speaks from that 'middle' where 'Mr. God lives in my middle...and I live in Mr. God's middle'....
One such insight is Anna's idea about 'dying'....
I quote Anna from her experience with Granny Harding's dying....
"Being dead was nothing to get fussed about.  Dying could be a bit of a problem, but NOT if you had really lived.  Dying needed a certain amount of preparation and the only preparation for dying was....real living,
the kind of preparation old Granny Harding had made during her lifetime...Granny Harding was glad to die; not because life had been too hard for her or she had been overworked, but because she had been glad to live.  Ninety-three years of beautiful living made sure that Granny Harding died happily....because she had lived...happily."

Special Mother, Daughter, Grand-Daughter Lunch

A real treat...having lunch with Britt & Lynn at Thai Palace
was a rare event...

Southern Girls who LOVE their family...

Mother & Daughter 'look-alike'....

Britt buys a 'dwarf gerbil ' for her boys,
oshua (8) and Dylan (3)...
When she got back to her office she discovered that the poor
dear only had 3 legs...so she decided to let her boys have
a very important lesson in....'special love and care'.....
(besides that if she returned it to store she just KNEW
that it would be used as 'snake food'....her tender heart
said, 'ABSOLUTELY NOT'!)...click on picture to enlarge....Posted by Picasa
