The Christmas Story....took!

Four Year Old, Dylan...Christmas Day...
It is the day 'after' Christmas and Brittney just called me saying,
"I have to tell you what happened at Wal-Mart."
A woman whose culture is to wear a covering over her hair, the khimar which is a type of headscarf,
walked by and Dylan said,
"Look, Mommy, that woman looks like Jesus's Mommy!"
Brittney, Joshua & Dylan wishes everyone a very blessed  and HAPPY New Year!
Joshua...a Wonderful 'Big' Brother....

Welcome Home Chuck & Terry from Africa!

Last night, our dear Son, Chuck and wife Terry, arrived safely home from Kenya, Africa as they are taking
a much needed 'furlough' from the mission field.
Their bodies need.....rest.
Their lungs need fresh air flushed through to help clear all the dust they have had
 to breath there.
They need to spend time with their children, grandchildren,
greet their new twin nephews and be with all of us during this wonderful season of Jesus Love.
Their friends and church family eagerly await time with them.
They also will be going to many churches to  share their work on the mission field.
Sounds like they will still be 'working for God', huh?
WELCOME HOME CHUCK & TERRY....WE MISSED YOU!

More Family Fun....Britt, Carla & Boys...

Britt, Carla and the boys, Joshua, Dylan and Kason aka: Brutus, came by while Carla was in town checking on a school she was interested in attending.  Then Britt's Dad, Richard, called and he, Linda, Kyle and Ty are in town to see the new twin Grandsons, Jude & Eli and were stopping by.
Family Reunion along with left~over Clam Chowder made it certainly a wonderful Christmas event.
Britt with brothers, Kyle & Ty...

Grandpa Rich loving on Dylan, TuTu
Britt with nephew, Kason aka: Brutus, a new name from Aunt Britt. She calls him her 'cowboy' nephew because he is very much a boots kind of guy!

Mama Carla looking good in 'Gator' colors, of course!

Britt is very happy to see her Dad, Rich, and 2nd Mom, Linda....and so were we!

There is no thrill like the thrill of making a new discovery.
God hides the greatest treasures in the places we least expect.

God says,
"By the way, I'm easy to find, I am wherever there is love. "

It Is ALL Good!

Our dear Cindy & Bob came for Clam Chowder last night and we exchanged gifts, had some  laughs and dredged up 'remember when memories'.
She presented me with a 'bling~bling' Gator jacket, Life Is Good mug and pad, some wonderful Designer sun glasses, special for cruising of course, and a very appropriate sign that says,
"DON'T MAKE ME COME DOWN THERE! signed GOD"
(P.S. He already has...with the Name Jesus...the Reason for the Season)

It is soooooooo Wonderful to be with 'Happy' people, whom we love and they in turn 'love us back'!
Since this is the Season of Ultimate Love.....sharing and being a part of Christmas Love is thrilling.
I always think of Cindy as the 'Christmas Angel' since she is an angel all year round and Christmas is just the culmination of the year of giving for her...and then she begins, AGAIN, in a whole new year.

ANGELS IN THE FORM OF.....US***
Angels serve many  roles, but in the scriptures they are most often seen as messengers, usually delivering good news.
Anyone can be an angel~not literally, but figuratively~ if we are a messenger of God!
It doesn't take angel wings to share the good news that Jesus is the Messiah who was born that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
Good news is always appreciated.  People avoid those who only share bad news, but are drawn to people who bear good news.
Cindy & Bob came 'bearing gifts' , Bob had to make a 2nd trip back to his truck for all of them' and they also shared their love, laughter and joy with Charlie and I.
IT IS ALL GOOD!
"Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests."
